Obtaining Copies of the Handbook

Copies of released revisions of MIL-HDBK-17 can be obtained from the

ASTM offers a hardcopy
version of the five volumes of the handbook (Volumes 1, 2, 3 - F; Volume
4A, Volume 5). On their website, search using the keyword "mil-hdbk-17".
Currently, single volumes sell for $110, the CD-ROM (searchable PDF's and
an interactive database) is $550, and the bundled package is $650 (prices
may change). |

Granta
Design Limited offers a database product, called the Cambridge
Engineering Selector (CES) that now includes data from MIL HANDBOOK
17. To date, only polymeric composites materials appear in this database.

Export Controlled Data
The Volume 2 Annex (under export control) will be available
