Simon Waite received the Appreciation Award for support to Damage Tolerance TG and organization of the Airworthiness Task Group. He has also helped maintain a strong European presence in CMH-17 as past supporters have retired or taken on new positions. Simon played a major role in creating the new chapter for Aircraft Structure Certification and Compliance (Volume 3/Chapter 3). Most recently, he helped generate a tutorial for this chapter, which brought enough revenue to the organization to offset all the costs for the current meeting.
