Lester Cheng received the Appreciation Award for leadership in organizing and supporting the Airworthiness Task Group. He has also helped Larry Ilcewicz lead the organization with his dedication to FAA composite safety and certification initiatives. Lester played a major role in leading the technical, organizational and planning efforts needed to create the new chapter for Aircraft Structure Certification and Compliance (Volume 3/Chapter 3).
